Community Events

The National Pet Register is actively involved in community events each month providing discounted mircohipping and free pet identification tags. We strongly recommend that your pet has two forms of identification, a National Pet Register ID tag and a microchip.

A microchip is the only way to permanently identify your pet. An ID tag provides a second form of identification that is worn around your dog's collar.

Take your pet along to these events to have him or her microchipped & registered with the National Pet Register. Every animal microchipped by the National Pet Register will receive a free identification tag.

In some states animals must be microchipped before they are registered with the council. In other states microchipping is not compulsory but council registration is. Please contact your local council for more information.
